I was told this week that I tried too hard to be perfect, I was also told a lot of other mean things, but this one thing stuck out like a sore thumb. I was told this by someone I barely knew, so it made me wonder. Do people really think that who don't know me? It makes me question what I show on the outside. I know that I'm not perfect, and that I never will be perfect, nor do I try to be. Blog title, The Perfect Imperfection, being perfectly imperfect? I like making mistakes, I learn from them. But, what can I do to make people that don't know me think differently? My first encounters with people are usually awkward, because I'll do something stupid, and they'll look at me weird, then I'll have to introduce myself and inform them that I'm not normally like this. Story of my life. Being told this doesn't make me want to change who I am as a person by any means at all, I'm content with who I am, what I'm growing up to be, how I look, my friends, I'm just a pretty happy person. It just makes me wonder what those who haven't peeked into what my life is like and who I am as a person really think of me. I guess it will always be a mystery.

Erin, I love who you are and thats what makes you, you. The things that person said were rude and especially saying it out in public like that just shows how that person judges you and others by their facebook and just first meetings. You're amazing<3
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've experienced you are A bright individual. People will judge you, the ones that do so without knowing you show their incompetence of A proper first impression. So continue being A bright young lady and ignore the ignorance exhibited to you. :)
ReplyDeleteDon't let one person make you think that everyone else judges you that way, especially when they haven't even given you a chance. You're a good person no matter what anyone else says. There are so many people that love you for who you are and if you like who you are then that's all that matters.<3

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that if what that person said isn't true then you just shouldn't care; Apparently they were wrong, but the fact is that is just doesn't matter anyways. You have to learn that everyone has their own opinion and even if you don't agree with an opinion you have to respect it and beyond that, it shouldn't matter.
